With Google Rank Search you are able to see where your website is on a particular search. For example the crew here at Casa Nova Designs has been working hard to get the top spot on google for the search term ‘Casa Nova’. With google search tool we simply plug in the URL of our website, and the keyword we’re looking for, and in a few seconds it returns the result. This is a great way to test keyword rankings (helpful for writing content and determining meta keywords). We use this tool in conjunction with Hub Spot’s website grader to help determine where we are in the SEO rankings.

The tool is still a little off (it scrapes google pages using PHP’s curl library and sometimes it counts google’s internal links as search results). But, it is a good way to see about where your site is in the google keyword war.
